3.14    If the offending conduct, act or omission is attributable to a corporation or person who
is connected to a member or an affiliate, it shall be deemed to have been authorised or
sanctioned by the member or affiliate unless the member or affiliate categorically severs
his connection with that corporation or person to such extent by providing the Society
with one month's notice in writing or in such manner as the Board of Directors may
deem fit in their sole discretion.
[For the purposes of By-Law 3.14 above, a corporation is deemed to be connected with
the member if the member is a director, chief executive officer or shareholder of the
corporation, and a person is deemed to be connected with a member if: (a) the member
is accustomed or is under an obligation (whether formal or informal) to act in
accordance with that person's directions, instructions or wishes; or (b) that person is
accustomed or is under an obligation (whether formal or informal) to act in accordance
with the directions, instructions or wishes of the member.]
3.15    An expelled member may appeal in writing to the Board of Directors within one month
of being expelled as a member thereof. The decision of the Board of Directors shall be
final.
3.16    Notwithstanding By-Law 3.13, the Board of Directors may in lieu of expulsion impose
a fine on a member provided that:
(a) a written notice of the intention to impose such fine and the reason therefor has
been served on him;
(b) he has been given a reasonable opportunity to show cause as to why he should not
be so fined; and
(c) any fine exceeding $50 shall have the prior written approval of the Registrar.

3.17    Obligations of Members:
In addition to and without limiting the other obligations of the members under
these By-Laws, each member shall:
(a)   before using a vehicle belonging to the Society, sign such agreement(s) and fill in
such forms as the Board of Directors may prescribe, and comply with such
regulations and procedures as may be laid down by the Board of Directors or
otherwise in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Society;
(b)   not pull out, remove, alter or modify any parts of a vehicle including any parts of
its machine, equipment, fittings and appurtenances without prior authorization from
the Society;
