It has been a pleasure serving you at Bukit Batok West Ave 5 site, especially the members living in the vicinity who have benefited from our car-sharing scheme. However, we regret that the Car Co-Op has decided to close down the site. The last car reservation at the above site shall be midnight, 02 Dec 2007. Alternate nearby sites are at the Bukit Batok Central and the Choa Chu Kang Southview. |

Dear Members, There were 5 petrol price hikes in the past 3 months - the latest early this week. The Car Co-Op has absorbed the increase in fuel prices so far. However, it is not sustainable to continue the fuel subsidy in the long run without compromising the quality of service to you. The Car Co-Op will implement a fuel surcharge of $0.30 per hour with effect from 5th Oct 2007. This fuel surcharge will be adjusted or removed according to the market condition. Your cooperation and understanding are appreciated.

Due to poor utilisation the following 6 car-sharing sites shall be closed gradually with effect from 1 Oct 2007. As part of our sites rationalisation effort, this second phase of satellite site closure will include: 1. Central - Toa Payoh Lor 2 2. East - Hougang Central 3. West - Woodlands Dr 31 4. West - Bukit Panjang Fajar 5. West - Bukit Panjang Jelapang 6. West - Choa Chu Kang St 52 We will re-deploy these cars to sites that have higher utilisation and are popular. This will improve the availability factor at popular car pick-up sites |

From April 2007, the membership renewals will occur half-yearly instead of
every quarter after the first year of membership.
Membership renewals in advance occur every
half-yearly after the first year of membership at $60 (subject to
change).
The renewal quarters are April to September and October to March. For the first half-yearly membership renewal, the member may be billed for part of the membership renewal if their renewal period do not coincide with the above-mentioned quarterly periods. For example, a member with a first year membership ending on 15 Mar will be billed 3.5 months at $35 for membership fee from 16 Mar to 30 June. Subject to applicable GST.
